DESCRIPTION​

In this Overview Series, designed for beginners, we will return to the original 4-class format:  Classes 1 and 2 will walk you through each of the steps to creating your painting.  Classes 3 and 4 give you a chance to independently prepare for painting prior to class so you can focus on paining during class time.

• Class 1 will walk through the process of cropping your reference photo, creating a value study, and creating your underpainting and sketch.

• Class 2 will focus on the painting. process including selecting your color palette, markmaking, edges and layering to complee your painting.   Padlet contains presentations that will guide you, in addition to the instuctor demos.

• Classes 3 and 4: Similar to the bootcamp format, you will create one painting each week. These sessions will require preparation before each class including cropping your reference photo, creating a value study, and creating your underpainting an​​

This class series will run for 4 weeks on Friday mornings, 9:30 am - noon​

​Sign up for all  three classes for the discounted rate of $175.  You can also sign up for just 1 or 2 classes for $50  each. ​​​​​​

​​​Fill out the form and write "All sessions" in the message field or list the specific dates you want to take. It is recommended that you take both Weeks 1 and 2 together.  Once class registration meets the minimum number of registrants, you will be notified.   A class link to Zoom and Padlet will be sent to all students who have paid.​​​
