These 2.5-hour zoom classes will take a deep dive into the pastel painting process with a focus on layering.  At the end of the 4 weeks, you will have completed 2 paintings (2 consecutive classes per painting.  The first class and third classes will focus on cropping, value study & underpainting; the second and fourth class will focus on layering and color: selecting a palette, blocking in, mark-making & edges.  The first 2 classes will include more instruction/exercises as I walk you through the entire process using my  reference; the last 2 classes will give you the opportunity to apply what you've learned using your own reference photo.

 

Although I recommend that you sign up for all 4 classes for the discounted rate of $175, you can also sign up for just 2 classes (weeks 1-2 OR weeks 3-4) for $100.
